Congratulations to our very own Anoop Ancha, Operations and Maintenance Engineer for the LBJ Express Lanes in Dallas, Texas, received Ferrovial's Health, Safety & Wellness award for Best Innovative Solution.
From a record 250 nominations, Ferrovial selected nine finalists from three categories - Best Innovative Solution, Best Team and Individual Leader. Four U.S. employees from Cintra, Ferrovial Construction and Webber made it to the top nine, from which Ferrovial selected one winner from each category. Cintra U.S. and Ferrovial Construction U.S. took home two of those three awards!
Anoop led the research, selection and implementation of a fully integrated wireless weather platform called The Freeze Control System that provides more exact data to better assess road conditions and the risk of the operations carried out by our road maintenance technicians, minimizing the possibility of accidents and incidents. It is now being used across all three of Cintra's Dallas-Fort Worth concessions – LBJ, NTE and NTE35W.
