In continuous recognition of the sacrifices and spirit of Filipino sportsmanship, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. honored the athletes who proudly represented the country in the recently concluded Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in a meet and greet at the Malacañan Palace.
The six (6) Paralympians received cash incentive of PhP1 million each and Presidential citation from the President himself.
These are Cendy Asusano (Athletics, Javelin Throw), Agustina Bantiloc (Archery), Allain Ganapin (Taekwondo), Ernie Gawilan (Swimming), Jerrold Mangliwan (Athletics, Wheelchair Racing) and Angel Otom (Swimming).
