Tanzania's President John Magufuli and Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni are set to meet later this month. They are hoping to agree on a way forward on East Africa's controversial Economic Partnership Agreement. The EPA is a trade deal that's supposed to be negotiated between the European Union and members of the East African Community. Kenya and Rwanda have already signed the agreement, but it won't be implemented until all member states have signed up. Tanzania is opposed to the deal. In September, the countries agreed to delay the bloc's commitment to allow more deliberations and negotiations on the matter.
