Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Oct 04 (ANI): Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav demanded resignations of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Ajay Mishra Teni and Deputy Chief Minister of UP, Keshav Prasad Maurya over clash in Lakhimpur Kheri, which claimed eight lives. Akhilesh also demanded ex-gratia of Rs 2 crore for kin of victims. “Even Britishers would not have committed the kind of atrocities this govt is committing against farmers. MoS Home Ajay Mishra and Deputy CM (Keshav Prasad Maurya) should resign. Rs 2 crores and govt job should be given to next of kin of the farmers who died,” said Yadav. (SA)
