Cash has become an indulgence rather than a necessity, and most countries have been relying on digital transactions for years now. After all, a strong dependency on cash is a significant reason for poor economic situations.
In this TEDx Talk, Mr. Aland Saifaddin, a software engineer and a digital banking consultant, shares how Digital Banking is our chance as a community to catch up with the rest of the world. Though it has been a popular means of living in other countries, citizens of Iraq have always been wary of the prospect of digitalized money.
And that is precisely why Mr. Saifaddin answers the question; "what is digital banking, and how can it make our lives easier?" by employing his experience of being the CTO at First Iraqi Bank, a bank that is specialized in digital banking, and his lifelong interactions with customers who seek the answer to the said exact question. Aland Saifaddin is a Software Engineer and Digital Banking consultant, he is holding a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, He is CTO at First Iraqi Bank (FIB).
