Welcome back to my channel beauties, in this video I show you how I am cleansing and taking care of my scalp while wearing my goddess faux locs as a protective style. Scalp care is very vital when wearing protective style. Keeping your scalp clean can and will aid in hair growth. Hair grows from the scalp so you still have to spend time cleansing and moisturizing your scalp.
In this video you will see me use my own mixture of apple cider vinegar, clarifying shampoo , tea tree and peppermint oil. You too can make this at home. There are pre made products out there but if you have these at home then this is quite easy. I used that mixture because I wanted something that would remove debris and build up and also help relieve itching thus the tea tree. I then followed up with a leave in conditioner to moisturize my hair. Using the light water based leave in gets absorb quickly and doesn’t cause a lot of build up.
