I have 2 new litters that are giving me more insights into my chaos recessive yellow line!
In case you are wondering, my Chaos recessive yellow line has a bit of a mystery going on. They are being diluted from yellow to white! I thought it was chinchilla at first, but a number of test litters have disproven that. so, what could it be? There is still a lot to figure out, but I now know that:
-The chaos recessive yellow line line carries blue. Not all of them are blues, and it is not what causes my chaos babies, but blue could be contributing to the dilution affect on at least a few mice
-A diluted chaos recessive yellow, when paired with a normal recessive yellow, produces normal recessive yellows! I'm not sure what the two diluted babies in this litter are yet, so I'm not sure if that's a clue. we'll have to see how they develop🤔.
