“I wrote this song for my father Charles Treger in 2021. Dad’s health was declining and he was on my mind a lot. I was thinking about life with Dad and it always came back to the Violin. As girls, my sister and I believed that Dad spoke to us, and everyone, through the extraordinary music that he played. I would tell all of my deepest thoughts, secrets, prayers and dreams to the Violin and I knew they would get to Dad. Once I opened my heart, through some tears, the song came pouring out in a single night. That night I realized, my life was safely held with all the stories in the wood of Daddy’s violin.” – Robin Lyn Treger @robinlyntreger3732
