The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has now given his backing to a bid to get World Heritage Status for the slate landscapes of Gwynedd.
A final decision won't be made until next year but it would be a well deserved boost to this gloriously beautiful part of north wales with it's rich history, culture and landscape.
