In this video, I test out the Seymour Duncan JB Model humbucker, a legendary pickup known for its versatility in jazz, blues, and rock—developed with Jeff Beck's input and boasting a 16-ohm output. I installed it on my Guild Polara Night Edition, but I ultimately decided to reject it before even restringing my guitar. Why? The bright lettering on the pickup clashed with the all-black aesthetic of the Polara Night Edition, which didn’t match the vibe I’m going for.
