I call this "a school strategy". I mean, all neat, 2 shots per jump, every jump the same way, just as per the books.
Doc Crash is also one of 5 easier Doc Robots. The pattern is simple and pretty easily sustainable. The only thing that could screw you up is his "additional" occasional jump that the original Crash Man didn't have. But even that is pretty predictable, I mean after some time you'll be able to know when that jump's coming so you can prepare (roughly speaking, after his 3 normal jumps that one usually comes, at least based on the speed I make him jump regularly). But.. it wouldn't be Mega Man if it was that simple :D Your biggest enemy in this battle is - the NES lagging. When he throws his crash bomb the game starts lagging and slowing down, and that is exactly when you're landing down and are supposed to turn around and quickly shoot him as he's landing (because if you hit him before he lands it's fine, but if you hit him when he has already landed, he'll jump again and shoot a crash bomb at you). And many times due to this lagging you'll miss the shoot, you'll press the button but the game won't recognize it and Mega Man won't shoot. This will cause you to kill him slower than you normally would, and the longer the battle takes, the bigger your chances of dying are. And also, many times the lagging will cause you direct damage, because Mega Man won't jump or slide, and you'll take damage from Doc Crash or his bombs.
But after some practicing, you'll become able to beat both Doc Crash and game's lagging. After all, he indeed is easy.
