This final year of the fourth generation F series sports a long bed and custom cab, perfect for a hot rod truck like this. This truck is special, and has been fitted with the running gear and suspension from a 1979 F150, including the Twin I-Beam front end, newer rear end, the motor is also from that truck with a stout Ford 351M CID V8, a workhorse of its day. The motor has been paired to a 3 Speed Auto transmission. Power Disc brakes, Power Steering, Air Conditioning, wheels, The Steering column, and more have all been adapted from the newer truck, meaning this 60s truck rides and drives like a near 80s model.
This '65 not only goes but shows just as well. The original paint on this classic truck is still bright Red that is sure to stand out. The red paint theme carries to the interior as well with a red dash and wheel. The red cloth bench seat is comfy. With desirable equipment like: AM Radio, Power brakes, power steering, and Air Conditioning, this truck will make someone very happy.
