The Islamabad High Court (IHC)on Tuesday extended interim bail of former Sindh chief minister Qaim Ali Shah till May 8. Two member bench comprising Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani heard the plea. Qaim Ali Shah along with his counsel Farooq H. Naek appeared in the hearing pertaining to the fake bank accounts case. Prosecutor NAB told the court that arrest warrants of Shah have not been issued yet, investigation against him was underway. The court on the plea of Farooq H. Naek extended bail of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader till May 8 and deferred the hearing. Earlier, Shah was granted bail by the IHC against surety bonds of Rs1 million each in the case.
