Queen Elizabeth II has appealed to Commonwealth leaders to appoint her son, Prince Charles, to succeed her as their head. The Queen, while addressing 53 heads of state and dignitaries at Bukingham Palace said it was her wish that her son carries on as leader of the Commonwealth.
