Sabota Lark (Mirafra sabota) Bird Call Video | Larks & Pipits Of Africa

The Sabota Lark (Mirafra sabota) is the most common species of Lark or Pipit found in the Kruger National Park. They are common throughout the whole Park, but do prefer the drier areas and more open areas.

As far as LBJ's goes, in the Kruger, this is the one you will see and hear the most. The lovely song of the Sabota Lark can be heard djuring the whole day, and in a lot of areas. Even though they are dull in appearance, they make up for it in so many other ways, the Sabota Lark is a stunning bird species!
