Saga Spirit of Discovery is a 999-passenger ship is in Pappenburg, Germany, marking the first new-build vessel for 50s and overs in the cruising world. The ship will have 540 all-balcony cabins and suites. This will be completely different from any other ship they have had in the past. On top of this there will be 109 cabins for solo passengers. This will make them leaders in the industry on that regard.

From 2020 the ship will be all-inclusive. This will include: insurance and door-to-door travel to and from the UK departure point.

It is worth noting that you can't travel with Saga until you are 50 unless... you are over 40 and travelling with someone 50+. Now being 50 is considered the new 30 so, don’t let that put you off a fantastic cruise with this British Based Cruise Line.

The inspiration for the design is some of the very best contemporary London hotels with a luxurious, soft, tactile feel and a really good flow.

One of the nice things we’ve noticed Saga have done with ‘Spirit of Discovery,’ is that they have tried to give a nod, to previous ships in the fleet, in the naming of various venues or bring back old favourite venues. They have kind of picked the best bits from older ships and sprinkled in a few new fun things too.
