The spectacular scene of YS Waterfalls awaits you after a Jitney Tractor ride, passing a beautiful landscape of YS Estate with its red poll cows, race horses and cotton trees. The cascading pools of the river invite to a cool refreshing dip, you also can swing in by rope or alternatively walk along the falls aside. Picnic areas and natural pools are perfect for a relaxed family day. For action fans a canopy tour is a must and is guided by two experienced guides, feel like Tarzan when you slide above the falls through the treetops. Then we heading to Appleton Rum Factory, where they produce one of the best rums in the world since 1749

Go on the Rum Tour and learn more about the history of Appleton Estate and the process of making rum. On your tour you will get to taste sugar cane, freshly squeezed cane juice, molasses and of course a selection of the result: the rum tasting! On our way to the Black River Crocodile Safari we pass through Bamboo Avenue for a cold Jelly stop before we get our lunch from woodfire in Middle Quarters.
Finally your boat ride on the Black River will take you through unspoilt mangrove and swamp landscape in which you will be as close as possible to the crocodiles, birds and magnificent vegetation. But don't be afraid, the crocodiles are like the people of Jamaica – friendly!
