As the sun rises over the elephant homestead, the youngsters are already up and ready to start the day. Khanyisa, full of energy, takes a few steps back before launching forward to playfully tackle her big sister, Timisa, who is used to Khanyisa’s lively antics. These two orphans share a special bond.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the homestead, Sebakwe and Somopane greet each other over the fence. These two older bulls, who moved together from Zimbabwe to South Africa, have built a strong brotherly relationship over the years. Known for their mutual respect, they are two of the most gentle and loving bulls in the herd.
