This video shows 3 different tips and tricks to removing a stuck sewer clean out cap. When brass sewer plugs get rusted frozen in cast iron they can be extremely difficult to remove, often resulting in having to cut them out. Cap removal is the best outcome to save in both cost and time for your plumbing project. Once the cap is removed, a replacement mechanical cap is installed to provide easy access in the future for snaking out the main sewer line.
