Colorado is one of the top motorcycling destinations in the United States. It is home to Trail Ridge Road, the highest paved mountain pass in the country. Cresting at 12,183 feet in elevation, Trail Ridge Road makes for an epic motorcycle ride at the beginning of the Summer season, when the roadway is freshly plowed from the winter snowpack. 10+ foot snowbanks line the side of the roadway! If you're planning a motorcycle trip to the Rocky Mountains, be sure to put this scenic byway through Rocky Mountain National Park on your bucket list! We'll also ride over Berthoud Pass, another one of my favorite paved passes in the state!
