UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt adds pressure on the Bank of England to raise interest rates after May's inflation print overshot expectations. "Interest rates do bring down inflation over time. That will happen here," Hunt said in pooled comments. Traders now expect the BOE's key rate to reach 6% by December, which would mean another 150 basis points of increases this year.
