So many hidden lessons today. But First - Doesn't this jeep look amazing?! Its the 1/8th scale "Cragsman" from Traction Hobby. Online hobby store "Asia Tees" is a distributor of this giant, and I have done many films on it already. Here is a link to the product on AsiaTees: [ Ссылка ] - Yes, it is quite expensive for a trail rig.. but when all is said and done - I have sunk more into many other rigs - that can do only HALF as much as this rig can! Check out my other films on this rig for more details: [ Ссылка ]
Today, I am installing the Traction Hobby Axle Weights, and they truly are something amazing! I like how they are a-fixed to the axle housing and the C-hub. It truly is amazing not to have a traditional rotational mass - and a lot of extra strain on the axle shaft being now removed!
I did run into some issue, which required me to rotate the front axle forward "clocking" them after the install of the aluminum C-Hub and Steering knuckle. I found that if I didnt do this.. the steering was at a bad angle. For those interested, I go into detail in this film.
Here are the wheel weight and aluminum upgrades that I used on my Cragsman: [ Ссылка ]
