NSW Amateur Radio History - Tim Mills VK2ZTM - Manly-Warringah Radio Society lecture
The Manly-Warringah Radio Society ([ Ссылка ]) at Terrey Hills in Sydney, Australia, holds lectures on the third Wednesday of every month, except December.
In the lecture for March 2016, Amateur Radio New South Wales and WIA stalwart Tim Mills VK2ZTM expounds on aspects of Australian Amateur Radio history, particularly in New South Wales (VK2), that many Amateurs - particularly younger ones - will not have heard before.
Tim has been a licensed Radio Amateur for longer than many operators have been alive. He is a wealth of knowledge on the people and personalities of the hobby, with countless stories to tell.
For many years, Tim contributed the "Technical and Historical" segment of the weekly VK2WI news broadcasts conducted by Amateur Radio New South Wales.
