Three soldiers were killed early Thursday in the port city of Kismayu. Ten other soldiers were wounded. The attack comes as militant group Al Shabaab struggles to capture strategic towns as it wages war on troops and civilians in the country. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud however maintains that this fresh wave of attacks is not indicative of the group’s resurgence.
