Indonesia's Rizki Juniansyah claimed the gold medal in the weightlifting men's 73kg division at the Paris Olympics on Thursday.

Juniansyah lifted 155kg in the snatch before setting a new Olympic record of 199kg in the clean and jerk, achieving a winning total of 354kg.

This was the 21-year-old weightlifter's Olympic debut, and he remains the world record holder for the total. Earlier this year at the IWF World Cup in Phuket, Thailand, he lifted a total of 365kg.
