Today Apple has finally seeded the iOs 10.2.1 Public Beta 3 for registered beta testers after 2 idle weeks due to the winter holidays. The new iOS 10.2.1 Beta, despite having quite a big size (1.6 GB on iPhone 6), apparently does not bring any important / new features for the general public, being more of a Bug Fix release.
Although not extremely important from the features standpoint, this beta plays a key role in the future of Jailbreak, see, iOS 10.2.1 is bounded to exit Beta stages soon, and after it gets published, it is only a matter of time until iOS 10.2 get unsigned, so do not update to iOS 10.2.1.
Why do we think Apple will be quick this time? Well, security researcher Luca Todesco has already stated on his Twitter account the increased possibility of an iOS 10.2 Jailbreak for 64-Bit devices, but not iPhone 7, this will probably make Apple to close the signing window shortly after releasing iOS 10.2.1.
Although a Jailbreak for iOS 10.2 is now confirmed as possible by Luca Todesco, this does NOT mean you should update from iOS 10.1.1. Despite possible, iOS 10.1.1 will still be the priority, so you should only take this iOS 10.2 Jailbreak possibility in consideration if you missed the downgrade window and you are stuck on 10.2.
