Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, we're gonna be test fitting the Titan chain snow tire chains with cams, part number TC2211CAM. These are very strong and durable chains with a ladder pattern to them as well as V bar links. Now what the ladder pattern's gonna do is assist with effective starts and stops in both snow and ice. But with the V bar links here, as well as he twist links, that's gonna help get that really good traction in your icy situations. So I wouldn't necessarily use these chains for your light snow or anything like that. This is for that heavy duty, thick ice on the roads.

We also have these cams around the sides here and that's to help create that tension around the tire so you don't have to purchase aftermarket rubber tensioners. You still can if you want. But they're not necessary for this set up. These do come with the tool needed to tighten down the cams. They come in a quantity of two and while you're using these, the recommended speed rating for these is gonna be 30 miles per hour.Also, when you're finished using the chains and they're cleaned off, it does come with a reusable canvas bag that you can place the chains in, put them in your vehicle, and they're gonna be ready for next time.

Today, we're working with tire size 23765R17. If you put these chains on and find that they don't fit, double check the size, then go to our website and find the proper fit. Before we install these, we went ahead and laid the chains out in front of the tire just to make sure there's no kinks in the lines or anything like that and since this can be particularly trying on your hands, we do recommend that you wear gloves while you install these. Now we'll take our chains and drape them over the tire evenly inside here, around the back and they're go on the other side of the tire to make our connections there and then comes back out and make our final connections out here.So we'll start my taking our hook end and attaching it to our link here, going as far as we can and now we can go back out to the front of the tire. So we'll take our link on the front, side it around our hook here.

We'll bend this back like so, slide our piece here and secure it. You can still see the chains themselves are a little loose and that's when we go around to the cams with our special tool and start tightening them down. So we have our tool here. We insert it into our cam and then tighten it up all the way around until it's nice and secure in our tire. With that tightened, you can see that play is gone.

Now what I would suggest is driving a short distance, doubling checking the tension to make sure it's working properly and then you're gonna be good to go. There you have it for the Titan chain snow tire chains with cams on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica.
