This Children's Liturgy of the Word is for The Baptism of the Lord. It comes to you from St Marie's Cathedral, Sheffield, in the Catholic Diocese of Hallam.
The Gospel Reading comes from Mark 1:7-11, and it is illustrated to aid understanding. In it, we hear about Jesus' Baptism... But in this season of Epiphany, what does this reveal to us about Jesus?
We also Light the Candle, Make the Sign of the Cross, and say the Sorry Prayer. The Gospel Reading is followed by a Children's Homily (a discussion about the Gospel), and a prayer.
This Liturgy is suitable for all primary school aged children, but younger and older children should also get something out of it too!
