In this discussion we are going to take a look at some of the most commonly held popular misconceptions about AI and do our best to debunk myths with the facts. As the recent media coverage around advances in artificial intelligence technologies accelerates, society is having a tough time assessing whether artificial intelligence (AI) based systems are a good thing or not. While some AI skeptics believe that AI is a fundamental existential risk for human civilization we are constantly missing out on an objective view on the state of artificial intelligence. Are the robots going to kill us and take our jobs?

PySer is a one day, community-driven conference full of talks, tutorials, and other activities that strives to strengthen the local Python community as well as promote the language. All talks at the conference will be in English, recorded and uploaded on our YouTube channel so we can also promote our local community globally.
