Jeffries jumps up to collect a high cross, and clears up field. SV Crowd. SV Other end, Torquay United attack, Hair jumps high to beat Collins, ball to McCall, and he races off up field into the Torquay half. SV Crowd. John Charles and Webber race for the ball, Webber slides ball from Charles, but Williams reaches it and as Charles stays off the field because he is offside, Williams centres it. A Leeds player shoots and Charles kicks it into goal. Disallowed because Charles was still offside. SV. Crowd. SV. Torquay attacking. SV. Children in crowd. SV. Torquay attacking, H. Smith shoots and scores, the goalkeeper was unsighted. LV. Crowd cheering. LV. Leeds attack, Brook fires in a shot which Jeffries just manages to deflect right back. Towers runs onto the ball and completes the clearance. SV. Other end. Don Mills running with ball, he flicks a pass to Collins, Collins shoots, Wood leaps to punch the ball over but he is harassed by Dobbie and the ball drops to the feet of the unmarked Smith who scores. LV. Crowd. Half time score - Leeds 0, Torquay 2. SV. Leeds attacking, a long range shot by Eric Kerfoot enters the net. Score 1-2. LV. Crowd cheering. SV. John Charles running with the ball, he beats two defenders before cracking home the equaliser. Final score - Leeds 2, Torquay 2.
