I've always loved the sound of the cello and wished that I knew how to play. For a long time I thought that classical instruments are something you have to learn from the time you are a child or your window of opportunity closes forever. This belief, that there is an expiration date on learning new things, is something I actively work against. Putting that in practice I decided to take on learning cello as an adult because quite frankly my desire to be able to the instrument never faded and I had run out of good reasons not to learn.

In this video I discuss why I decided to learn the cello, my experience with the cello as an adult beginner, and tips for adult beginners (or just beginners in general). I will be posting a separate 6 month cello progress video as not to force those interested in my experience learning cello as an adult to have listen to an adult beginner... unless they are interested :)
