The Tasmanian Institute for Law Enforcement Studies (TILES) and Tasmania Police have partnered as part of Project Vigilance which provides the capacity for electronic monitoring of family violence offenders. Project Vigilance is a pilot program, which is not only a first of its kind in Australia but a world-first. This electronic monitoring is not just for family violence offenders but also for victims as an opt in and opt out for this project.
