Legal System & Method - Chapter 1: Sources of Law (Degree - Year 1)

In studying the operation of the legal system, we need to be able to recognise which rules are regarded as "law" and which rules preside over the other.

In the English common law system, there are three (3) principal sources of law, namely:

(a) Law made by Parliament
(b) Law decided in the courts
(c) International law
