The day started with blue skies, but a warm, unstable atmosphere led to convective development in the midst of a moderate risk of severe storms. The complex of thunderstorms treated the area with a great show of mammatus and a stacked plate shelf cloud. Watch as the gust front kicks up dust during the passage! Most damage in the city was minor (e.g.1-2" limbs).
