A resolution has been adopted to draft an initial version of a legally binding global treaty against #plastic #pollution by November 2023. Plastic pollution has more than doubled in the past 20 years, and it's estimated that over 400 million tons of plastic waste are generated annually worldwide, with the potential to triple by 2060. Yet numerous startups are attempting to find solutions, such as the US startup Cove, which recently introduced the first biodegradable water bottles made entirely from vegetable oil and food #waste.
