The Grand Design RV Rally family has continued to support Irondog K9 International (IDK9) by choosing us as their selected charity for several rallies.

This past weekend, the North Florida Grand Design RV Rally was held at the Island Oaks RV Resort in Glen Saint Mary, FL. IDK9 Board Members Charlie Nash, Mitzi Nash, and Kyle Burnett participated in the rally and arranged to have some very special guests join the event.

IDK9 presented in the opening ceremony, delivering our mission to strive to equip, protect, and train law enforcement K9 teams. We discussed the difference our supporters' donations have made for our K9 officers. Featured guests, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) Officer Cheth Plaugher and K9 Huk were the highlight of the presentation, sharing how these donations funded the emergency vet bills for Huk's injury in the line of duty!

It was so great to see Cheth and our Huky Boy! Everyone had the opportunity to see our donation dollars at work and how Huk is now thriving! We can't thank the JSO, Officer Cheth Plaugher, and Huk enough for joining the rally and meeting with everyone.

We know how much work and dedication it takes to put on events of this size. We feel so honored and blessed that Grand Design RV Families, like Tanya and Phil Devereaux, and Wagon Masters, John and Laura Belknap, would include Irondog K9 International and give us a platform to share our cause with the GDRV community.

This year, due to the ever-changing economy, donations to all charities are down. We have been working diligently to provide for the needs of our courageous four-legged K9 officers. We are floored and honored by the amazing support of the Grand Design RV Families who have gone above and beyond to help bring awareness of our mission, and proud to say, they raised over $7,500.00+ in donations.

It is support like this that makes a difference for the K9s, who lay down their lives to save us; that means everything. Thank you!!
