I purchased an iPhone 16 Pro Max from eBay. This is not the first one I have seen. Nearly all the iPhones 16 pro on Facebook are fakes. After looking and going to physically see about 100 iphones 16 Pro and Pro max on Facebook, they have been all fakes. I have given up on Facebook and iPhones 16. On eBay, if it is a lot cheaper than the normal price, it is probably fake. Out of 10 of the iPhones I purchased on eBay 6 were fake. At least on ebay you pay using paypal and can get a refund. Please note I live in Australia, Melbourne, so this might not apply to you. When buying on facebook, ask to meet at the police station. This is what I started doing, as a scammer won't go there.
