For anyone wondering this a slightly obscure David Bowie song off of Low. It's a bit of a change of pace after two Motorhead songs but the last half of this is one of my favourite guitar solo's so I thought I'd should give it a go. The snag is that the studio processing of the sound is probably the main reason I like the solo so much and I'm not even going to attempt to reproduce that. Instead I make do with a bit of phaser + rotation.
This is probably the easiest solo I've posted so far. I spent longer working out all the notes that anything else. I think most of them are right but I'm not 100% in a couple of places. Curiously the first 6 notes from the star spangled banner are in there (at least the way I'm playing it) which I never noticed before. Kudos to anyone who can spot where.
