Give me a couple of minutes, and I will tell you why you should never buy a GoPro in your life!

Number 1 - Value Loss
If you bought the GoPro Hero 8 about a year ago for $400, well today, in used condition it will be worth only half of its original price.
Compared to other cameras such as DSLR cameras or Mirrorless cameras, GoPro action cameras have a high tendency to drop in price fast.
Number 2 -Other Action Cam Competitors
We tend to think of GoPro as the BEST action camera out there. But is it?
If you try hard enough, you can buy a camera like the Xiaomi YI4K Action camera for around $50. The camera will have most features that the new GoPro's have, including image stabilization, different views, such as wide or narrow, and even voice control!
Number 3 - Do you really need a GoPro?
Unless you are a person who can't live a day without action or sports, you won't need a GoPro action camera.
A Dslr camera or mirrorless camera might suit your specific needs a lot better. On these types of cameras, you can get better and professional looking footage and sound.
Number 4 - The quality of GoPro footage
GoPros tend to have a warpy, round look to it. A distortion that occurs because of the ultra wide angle lens.
The sound quality is not very good on Gopro cameras either. For best results, you should use a separate microphone.
Now to the Positive Side,
Why you should consider a GoPro!
1. They are super easy to use. Even a child can figure it out!
2. Its compact and rugged for sports
3. Its great for FPV dones (Even I would buy a GoPro to mount it to a drone)
