Firefighters in the United States are battling a blaze so big it's created its own weather system with the threat of thunderstorms and high winds likely to make containment efforts even more difficult.
The Bootleg Fire in Oregon is the largest of more than 80 major wildfires burning across the West Coast and has burned nearly 400,000 acres.
More than 200,000 personnel are working on the Bootleg Fire but officials in Oregon have appealed for outside help.
Officials have said the weather conditions needed to fully contain the Bootleg Fire could be as far away as late October or early November.
