Joanna (Jo) is the powerhouse behind the Green Jobs Foundation. As the Founder and Executive Chair of the foundation, she is dedicated to working towards a greener and more equitable future for all. Leveraging her expertise on the Just Transition and the impact of climate change on employment, Jo helps industry, government, and job seekers prepare for the green jobs transition.
In her Executive career, Jo is an independent CSO helping the C-Suite and main boards strive for a sustainable prosperous future by partnering with shareholders, customers, suppliers, and employees. Until recently, Jo was the Head of Sustainability at PageGroup and sat on their board-appointed Sustainability Committee. Jo serves as chair of the board of the Association of Corporate Treasurers, a professional qualification body, where she also sits on the Audit and Remuneration Committee.
Jo has over 24 years of industry experience and previously held senior leadership roles in finance, including treasury, risk management, insurance, and investor relations. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers and holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of South Australia.
