Ed Steidl, Director of Global Partnerships at Microsoft, leads community-based upskilling and reskilling efforts as part of their Global Skills Initiative. These efforts leverage partnerships to support workforce development efforts with incumbent employees and new employees in high demand occupations that are difficult to fill. Ed will provide an overview of the framework that Microsoft is using to implement these initiatives and specific examples of current work.
