Kenichi Hori, an elderly citizen, has earned the title of the oldest person to cross the Pacific Ocean alone. She did not stop and the boat kept moving.
He completed the voyage in two months in a 20 feet long boat. Interestingly, in 1962, he had traveled the same distance backward when he was 23 years old. At the time, he was the youngest person to cross the world's largest and deepest ocean.
