The East Lancashire Railway celebrated 50 years of the Deltics this year, over the course of a long Easter weekend both 55022 "Royal Scots Grey" and D9016 (55016) "Gordon Highlander" worked double headed, top and tailed and individually along the East Lancs Railway from Rawtenstall to Heywood.

I must make 3 apologies, 1 - for the delay, this was because I needed to get a video editing suite. 2 - For the sudden cuts, I'm still getting used to the video software and can not get it to fade properly and 3 for the final cuts, this was due to the camera running out of memory (my fault - I forgot to clear the card).
A big thanks to everyone at the East Lancashire Railway for running a spectacular event and also to Martin Walker and his team for keeping two fabulous Deltics alive.
