Writing over 500 film scores in his lifetime, this is the story of his life. The Oscar-winning Italian film composer died at the age of 91, his birthday was last November. For the man, where music was his life and his works have touched the whole world.
Morricone, who was simply known as "Maestro" in his home town of Rome, scored more than 500 films over seven decades.
