This film shines a light on a very special project by children celebrating culture and identity in response to the Travellers’ Journey/Mincéir Misli’d exhibition (2018-2019) at the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life, Co. Mayo. See how the children responded to the exhibition themes to share some big ideas about culture and identity . This Giant Tent was a collaborative project by Kids’ Own Publishing Partnership, the National Museum of Ireland, Involve Youth Project, Ballina, and Scoil Íosa, Ballina. The project was facilitated by writer Mary Branley and artist Cas McCarthy. The film element of this project was funded through Mayo North East Development Company. This Giant Tent is available from the Museum Shop at the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life and online from Kids Own Publishing Partnership.
