Civilization is changing things up with science, technology and culture. Both science and culture have age-specific & limited trees in Civ 7's three ages. Every civilization in the game also has its own unique, mini civics tree where you can unlock civ-specific benefits, wonders, buildings & more. The new 'mastery' mechanic allows us to effectively research culture & tech branches twice - unlocking additional, related perks. Civilization 7 thankfully introduces 'traditions' - the civ specific policies unlocked via their unique civics trees. These policies stay with you through the ages, and as you change civs, making them a much more strategic choice than I first realized. Especially at the beginning of a new age. Finally we'll talk the new civs and leaders who shape science and culture in Civilization 7, and how the game is handling related mechanics like great people & city adjacency. Thanks for watching!
