A thorough test review of the Husqvarna Norden 901 with standard suspension and WP Pro 270 mm suspension. This is the first in a two part series that takes this bike to its design limits.
We find that it ticks all the boxes for the Adventure Tourer class and well exceeds them, courtesy of the legacy of it's KTM890 Adventure R heritage. We discover that while it may have the running gear and engine of the KTM, the bike rides and feels very different.
Slight changes in steering and frame geometry make this bike a great performer on the twisty black top. The classic adventure styling protects the rider from the elements.
In this first episode we ride some serious dirt and take the bike to places many adventure riders wouldn't go near with a mid sized twin.
We also ride the WP Adventure Pro XPLOR PRO 7548 forks and XPLOR PRO 7746 rear shock valued at $9000 AU. This suspension takes the Norden to another level.
For those new to MAD TV I'd encourage you to look around the channel, we have international adventures, bike reviews and and Chris Birch extreme videos and other stuff and most recently some great films from Nick Sanders. Occasionally we go live for some fun. Here are some links to help you find the good stuff.
