Writer/Director, Rashaad Ernesto Green, started out as an actor. After not being able to find satisfying roles he decided to go back to school to learn to be a Director so he can create and film the stories he wanted to make. His first feature film, Gun Hill Road, receiving praise at the Sundance Film Festival, is a story about a trans-gendered child growing up and experiencing discrimination.
