This session was one of those rock up and see what's going on when we get on the water type game plans that in hindsight was how I wish it always played out. We knew the half moon neaps are usually a safe bet and getting the last few hours of runout tide is usually pretty good for the bigger residents that live close to the endless amounts of man made structure in the river. The session started out with a variety issues, some involving fish and others were to do with the recording gear but eventually I got my shit together and the fishing did the same. The plan also involved a bit of bream fishing that produced one of the better fish of recent sessions on the bream.
